This winged 'flying gurnard' is among the ocean's weirdest fish

The flying gurnard, or helmet gurnard - also knows as Dactylopterus volitans - is a fish of warm waters.<br /><br />This incredible footage was captured by diver Victor de Valles while he was exploring Menorca's coast on Tuesday (June, 2). <br /><br />When excited, the fish spreads its beautiful but sharp "wings," designed to scare away predators.
