Terms of use

Article 1 (Applicability)
This agreement defines the terms of use for the services (hereinafter referred to as "this service") provided by the dating site Badoo, operated by us (hereinafter referred to as "this site"). All registered users (hereinafter referred to as "users") are required to use this service in accordance with this agreement.

Article 2 (Prohibited Activities)
The following activities are prohibited during the use of this service. However, this does not apply if explicitly approved by this service, or if the respective rights holders of this service (if applicable) have given prior written permission. The service reserves the right to judge whether an act is a violation. This site may use a system to automatically analyze user content to detect violations and abusive behaviors such as spam, malware, and illegal content.

1.Activities violating laws or public order and morals.
2.Activities related to criminal acts.
3.Acts that infringe on intellectual property rights, reputation, privacy, etc., such as access, reproduction, downloading, distribution, transmission, broadcasting, display, sale, licensing, modification, and amendment of our company's materials. This includes the collection and acquisition of information that could potentially identify an individual.
4.Acts of discrimination or defamation against other users or third parties.
5.Posting or spreading inappropriate content. Using this service for unilateral solicitation or mass solicitation.
6.Creating or spreading viruses, illegal codes.
7.Accessing this service by automated means such as robots, botnets, scrapers, etc.
8.Any other actions deemed inappropriate by the company.
9.Access to this service is prohibited for those under 18 years of age.
10.Activities that burden the server, hinder the use of this service, or interfere with, damage, or limit the functionality of other's computers (software, hardware, etc.).
11.Opening or soliciting pyramid schemes.

Article 3 (Content, Copyright, Ownership, etc.)
Users shall take full responsibility for all legal liabilities, damages, and litigation costs related to the content they create on this service.

1.You may not post content that violates this agreement or the law when uploading content such as introductions. You may not post content that includes others' intellectual property (e.g., works), unless you have permission or legal authority from the rights holder.
2.You may not use or publicly disclose others' photos, etc., without permission.
3-.The copyright of videos and texts (hereinafter referred to as "posted content") posted on this site by users shall belong to the user who posted them or other rights holders. However, users grant us a non-exclusive right to use (including reproduction, publication, transmission, distribution, transfer, loan, translation, adaptation, etc.) the content they have posted for free, indefinitely.
4.Customers understand and agree that this site may retain a server copy of deleted videos.
5.Users retain ownership of the videos they upload.
6.Users grant this service the right to monetize the content in this service.
7.This agreement does not grant customers the right to receive payments.
8.Users may stop using this service at any time.

Article 4 (Usage Restrictions and De-registration)
We reserve the right, without prior notice to the user, to restrict a user's use of all or part of this service, or to de-register the user in the following cases:

1.If any provision of these terms is violated.
2.If it is discovered that there is a false fact in the registration items. Or if the stability of this service is compromised by the improper registration or operation of multiple accounts.
3.If there is a default on payment obligations.
4.If there is no response to our communication for a certain period.
5.If the service is not used for a certain period since the last use.
6.If we judge that it is not appropriate to use this service for any other reason.
7.We are not responsible for any damages incurred by the user due to actions taken by us based on this article.
8.Even if this service does not take immediate action when you violate this agreement, it does not mean that the service is intending to waive its rights (such as the right to take legal action in the future).

Article 5 (Paid Services)
By using any transactions within this service, including paid services and paid points, users agree to all the terms of these services.

Article 6 (Inter-User Actions)
This service provides a place for communication between users. All exchanges of messages, meetings, date arrangements, sharing of personal information, etc., are done at the responsibility of the users. We are not responsible for any troubles between users. If any trouble occurs between users, please resolve it at your own responsibility and expense.

Article 7 (Handling of Personal Information)
We will properly manage personal information provided by users. The handling of personal information will be in accordance with our separately provided "Privacy Policy". We allow users to disclose their profile information, etc., to other users. Users should take sufficient care when disclosing their own information. Except for cases where there are requests based on laws and regulations, we will not disclose users' personal information to third parties without the user's consent.

Article 8 (Prohibited Actions)
We prohibit the following actions. If you violate these, we may take measures such as account suspension and de-registration. Registering false information,

1.Stalking, harassing, threatening, or otherwise disturbing other users.
2.Violating the privacy of other users.
3.Forcing sexual acts or other inappropriate behaviors.
4.Other legally and ethically inappropriate behaviors.
5.Soliciting pyramid schemes, network businesses, or actions contrary to domestic law.
6.We may provide relevant information to law enforcement authorities if we discover these actions.

Article 9 (Age Limit)
This service is only available to users who are 18 years of age or older. By using this service, users assure that they are over 18 years old. If a user under the age of 18 uses this service, or if a user lies about their age, the company may suspend the user's use of the service and delete their account when this becomes known.

Article 10 (Reporting)
If a user identifies behavior by another user that is suspected of violating this agreement, or if a user themselves experiences inappropriate behavior, they may report this to the company. The company is not necessarily obliged to respond to such reports, but may investigate as needed and take appropriate action. The company is not obligated to report the outcome of any investigation and will not disclose the identity of the reporter to the reported user.

Article 11 (Termination and Withdrawal)
Users can delete their account and withdraw from the service at any time. Even if there are remaining paid services of this service at the time of withdrawal, they will be invalidated. The handling of information after withdrawal will follow the "Privacy Policy". Even if the use of this service is suspended or withdrawn, the obligations of the user based on this agreement shall remain effective.

Article 12 (Disclaimer and Exemption Clause)
The company does not make any guarantees regarding this service. The company assumes no responsibility for any damages that may occur to users due to this service. However, this disclaimer does not apply when the contract between the company and the user regarding this service is required by law. In particular, the company assumes no responsibility for the following points:

Any damages resulting from the content of the service or the results of interactions between users.
Any problems or damages that arise as a result of interactions between users through this service.
If the content of information sent, posted, or transmitted by a user using this service is inappropriate, inaccurate, misleading, illegal, harmful, aggressive, defamatory, infringing, insulting, unpleasant, inappropriate, malicious, or annoying to other users or third parties.
Any disputes that arise between the user and a third party as a result of using this service.
Article 13 (Changes to Service Content, etc.)
The company may change the content of this service or discontinue providing this service without notifying users, and assumes no responsibility for any damages that may occur to users as a result.

Article 14 (Change of Terms of Use)
The company may change the content of this agreement at any time without notifying users if it deems it necessary, and users shall unconditionally accept this.

Article 15 (Notification or Contact)
Notifications or communications between the user and the company shall be made in the manner specified by the company. The company considers that it has notified or communicated using the currently registered email address, etc., if there is no change notification from the user in the format specified by the company.

Article 16 (Prohibition of Transfer of Rights and Obligations)
Without the prior written consent of the company, the user may not transfer, lend, or provide as security their rights or obligations based on this agreement to a third party.

Article 17 (Force Majeure)
In case the operation of this service becomes difficult due to circumstances beyond reasonable control such as natural disasters, earthquakes, epidemics, floods, riots or acts of war, the service operator shall not be held liable.

Article 18 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)
The interpretation of this agreement shall be governed by the laws of Japan. If a dispute arises regarding this service, the court with jurisdiction over the location of the company shall have exclusive jurisdiction by agreement.

Article 19 (Severability)
Even if any provision of this Agreement is found to be invalid or unenforced able by applicable laws, it will not affect the validity or enforceability of the remaining provisions.

Article 20 (Language)
This agreement is written in Japanese, and the interpretation of the Japanese version takes precedence. Even if translated into English or other languages, such translations are provided for reference only, and the Japanese version takes precedence in the interpretation and application of this agreement.
