Volunteers Rescue Animals Injured In Greek Wildfires
<p>Volunteers searched for injured animals along the burned landscape of Mati in Greece on July 24 as the death toll from wildfires rose to 79 people</a>.</p><p>An animal shelter in the town of Pikermi</a> said</a> locals donated food, bandages and medicine to help with the injured animals. Vets4Life</a> shared images of injured animals brought to the shelter after they were rescued by volunteers.</p><p>The country’s Civil Protection Agency said</a> it received dozens of reports of missing people and was conducting search operations in Vuja, Mati and Rafina.</p><p>This footage, recorded on July 24, shows a small dog sitting on rocky terrain.
