Video captures Peruvian volcano eruption

Peru's Ubinas volcano erupted on Monday (September 02), spewing ash around its crater but authorities said there was no immediate danger to the general population.<br/> <br />Members of Peru's Institute of Geophysics captured dramatic video at the precise moment the volcano spewed ash, sending the team scrambling for cover just below the crater.<br/> <br />Geophysics experts said the series of small explosions are tied to the infiltration of snow into it's crater.<br/> <br />Peru experienced its heaviest snowfall in ten years.<br/> <br />Last week President Ollanta Humala announced an emergency in nine provinces in the region which have been affected by low temperatures and snowfall.
