The Chirping Canary Intro

Before the information and technology age miners would bring a small, noisy bird with them to extract resources from the bowels of the earth. The bird had two functions, to provide lovely music to serenade the miners as they went about their labors; and to notify the workers when carbon monoxide built up to a dangerous level. <br /><br />In the course of human history, men and women are the most free when they can speak without the fear of their government taking their life, liberty or property for doing so. <br /><br />
