Shawn Mendes Announces Second Headlining World Tour

Shawn Mendes has announced his second world tour as a headliner.<br />The 17-year-old singer-songwriter most recently ended runs on Jingle Ball and as Taylor Swift's opening act.<br />The teen will launch his world tour with the previously announced gig at New York City's Radio City Music Hall, a show that sold out in less than 5 minutes.<br />In April, he'll head to Europe and return to North America in July.<br />Mendes had a massive 2015 following the release of his debut album Handwritten.<br />Having gained a following with his Vine account where he would acoustically cover songs, the album debuted at Number One.<br />His single "Stitches" was the album's breakout hit, peaking at Number Four on the Billboard Hot 100.
