With tourism almost back to pre pandemic levels, there has been alot of talk about "too" many tourists lately -- more specifically, too many tourists in certain areas. Much like Tokyo and Kyoto before covid, local governments are beginning to raise their concerns about all the tourists clogging the streets and interrupting daily lives -- which is, in turn, causing some changes with some iconic tourist options.
