J. Cole looks to the legends
<p><br /> He has rapped alongside one of the biggest hip-hop stars on the planet, but J.Cole has a long list of other greats he would like to collaborate with.<br /> </p><p><br /> "I'd love to work with Lauren Hill, Andre 3000, Kanye West, Nas, a lot of legends," said the US star, 25.<br /> </p><p><br /> Cole first rose to fame when he became the first act signed to Jay-Z's Roc Nation label. He then featured on the music mogul's track, A Star Is Born, on his album Blueprint 3.<br /> </p><p><br /> Explaining the style that helped him get noticed he said: "I've been taking the best parts from all of my favourite rappers, Jay-Z, Tupac, Nas, Kanye West, Eminem. Over the years, they've meshed and become my own. I've got so many different styles and sounds."<br /> </p><p><br /> J. Cole is now putting the finishing touches to his debut album.<br /> </p><p><br /> "We have an American release date of October 26 and hopefully it comes out around the same time in the UK," he said.<br /> </p>
