An Indian belly dancer performs during Delhi Summer Festival at Dilli Haat, Janakpuri organised by Delhi Tourism. <br /><br />Just about half an hour away from the busy, upmarket and posh location of city centre’s at West Delhi, Dilli Haat is a perfect getaway.<br /><br />Music is the central theme of the haat here. This auditorium is highly impressive as it is built using state-of-the-art technology. Currently, this is the biggest haat in West Delhi. One can find a massive hall in the haat, which is the venue for exhibitions, seminars, fairs, events, conferences and the like.<br /><br />This place is a definite haven for shopaholics as there are close to 46 shops that are air-conditioned, 74 shops that situated on the open platforms and close to 100 craft stalls housing a variety of goods. The food court where people throng in large numbers is fully air-conditioned and houses at least 30 food outlets that serve Indian and international cuisines. During summers, when Delhi gets unbearably hot, this place is sheer paradise.<br /><br />All efforts have been taken to ensure that the Janakpuri Delhi Haat takes utmost care of its environment and guests. Visitors who are differently abled too are quite comfortable here, as there are escalators, lifts and ramps to get around the place.
