Our new project this fall has been raising 9 Jersey Bull Calves. It has definitely been a learning experience as they are a lot different than other calves we have raised in the past. These are considered a dairy breed of cattle. Notice the fawn color they display. With deer hunting season starting, we are keeping them close to the barn so hunters arent confused by their appearance. Jerseys are ually quite rare in our part of the country as most tend to raise the beef varieties such as Angus or Hereford.

<br>If you heard the sound of broken glass, yes I heard it too! We had a strong wind the night before when the cold front came through, so one of the panes blew out of the window frame above. I didnt notice it until one of the calves stepped on it. Needless to say, I picked it up after I took the video so no worries!
