How To Write A Surreal Comedy Manga, Comic Or Novel #Shorts

Surreal comedy is a subgenre of surrealism and comedy, and focuses on humor developed from strange and absurd situations. In today's video, I want to discuss what makes up the surreal comedy genre, and how you can create your own surreal comedy stories. <br />An example of surrealism is Alice in Wonderland, because there are many situations throughout the story that focus on weird and absurd events that defy our reality. Essentially, a good rule of thumb for surrealism is to think of it as if you were writing a dreamscape.<br />An example of comedy is Nichijou. I used this series as examples in the video because I feel that the way character's react throughout it is a good example of the way character's could react in your surreal comedy series.
