A montage of animals in the wild and children wearing plastic animal noses plays. Dorothy has an elephant decoration in her fish bowl. She says that wild animals live outside and away from people, then asks what kind of animal is a wild animal. Mr. Noodle's brother, Mr. Noodle pretends to be a cat, a cow, and a seal; Wolfgang the Seal joins him. Kids pretend to be a lion, elephants and monkeys. Elmo asks a baby with a plush giraffe. Elmo asks the viewer to help him count the spots on an animated leopard. Prairie Dawn introduces The Big Bad Wolf, who blows her and some trees off the screen. Elmo asks questions about where wild animals live. Oscar the Grouch and Fluffy appear in an answer about where elephants live. Elmo's friend Rachel, her friend Vivian and Vivian's mom go to the Bronx Zoo. The Wild Animal Channel shows "Wild, Wild Kingdom". Marla Perkins talks about marsupials and sings and dances "The Waddle Waddle Hop Hop". Coming up next: The Lion in Winter starring Lionel Barrymore, followed by The Lion King with Tiger Woods. Elmo attempts to talk with the Muppet lion, tiger, bear, and monkeys, but they run off at the mention of food. The Elephant talks with Elmo about what wild animals eat. Dorothy imagines Elmo as a panda and an aardvark.
