Mocked by the new found mistake of my attempt <br />Outcome distracted by unwillingness <br />Hard route to feeling us <br />Maybe a new encounter filled with colorful memory <br />All is used now except the void left within me <br />We should have sailed without all of my <br />effort <br />Whiskey to water would've been a better try <br />But instead it turned out the bottle was only left clear <br />Agitation now overwhelming the fear <br />What's so wrong with just us being here? <br />The answer currently abroad <br />She can't even climb to the top of the rod <br />No suggestions are arising... <br />So now I'll go away with only myself <br />The time that we shared couldn't have been more surprising <br />Disappointed by the neglection thrown my way <br />I just find the route home with nothing to say <br /> <br /> <br />REJECTION...<br /><br />Drake Kinkaid<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/deflection/
