Have you ever heard of Bawean Island? <br /><br />This small isle is located approximately 93 miles north of Surabaya, off the coast of Java. Bawean is the habitat of Indonesia's endemic animal, Bawean Deer. <br /><br />Quoting the Ministry of Tourism data, Bawean deer is one of the Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora. <br /><br />Known as Axis Kuhlii, the Bawean deer looks like a Muntjac at a glance. It has 140 centimeters body-length with a shoulder height of 65 to 70 centimeters.
