Come on a narrated walking tour of the town of Paia in Maui, Hawaii. Paia is a historical plantation town with around 2,500 people. It was once home to the Hawaiian Commercial & Sugar mill from 1880 to 2000. Today, Paia has many colorful buildings and known as the hippiest town in Maui. The town center area has several restaurants, art galleries, surf shops and specialty gift shops. Paia is the first town on the Hana Highway when heading eastbound towards Hana. Paia is often refer to as "The World Capital of Windsurfing" due to close proximity to windsurfing spots like Ho'okipa Beach.
