In this travel video, we explored and danced our way around the Hawaiian island of Oahu, where enormous sea turtles sun-bathe on the northern beaches and rustic wooden swings are set up along rocky coastlines for all to enjoy. Where artists flourish in downtown Honolulu creating incredible larger-than-life murals on buildings, and cultures combine to create a beautiful mix of old and new.



We tasted delicious shave ice at the legendary Matsumoto's in Haleiwa (make sure to top yours with condensed milk for an extra special treat), were lucky enough to spot sea turtles at Laniakea Beach, stumbled upon an adorable tree swing made from driftwood, found the "Aloha" mural in downtown Honolulu, and floated through the Polynesian Cultural Center, before we moved onto the next island in our adventure: Maui!

It was my first time visiting Hawaii, so I have some money saving tips as well as ocean safety tips. I'm sharing some important travel and safety tips specific to Maui, Hawaii. Maui is a gorgeous island and I can't wait to return. We took the Atlantis submarine tour from Lahania and saw some sharks, it was amazing! We also did a bus tour to the Road to Hana. Hawaii had a pretty explosive inception—Diamond Head Crater, also called Leahi, started life as an active volcano. Don’t worry; it’s since gone dormant, which means you can climb to the rim and take in a truly brilliant view of the coast.

Head to the water and go paddleboarding or swimming; “Honolulu” means “sheltered bay,” and the beachfront here lives up to its name: It’s calm and sheltered year-round.

Honolulu #sightseeing must include a day at Pearl Harbor, and a #visit downtown to take in Honolulu’s history.

We're in Hawaii for the very first time. We're visiting the island of O‘ahu, staying in Waikiki in the main city of Honolulu. In this video we explore Waikiki (including a visit to Waikiki Beach), where we walk around and get some Hawaiian coffee. We also hike up Diamond Head (a volcanic crater) where we get amazing views of Honolulu. Afterwards we head to Waikiki brewing to try craft beer and it happens to be happy hour!
