Oleh Lyashko, leader of the Radical Party addresses Ukraine's parliament and launches blistering accusations against Yuriy Boyko, the leader of the opposition who formerly worked under ex-President Viktor Yanukovych.

Boyko is often accused of being a Russian "Kremlin agent" and of wanting to keep close ties to Russia. Boyko was also Energy Minister when he was part of Yanukovych's government. While minister he was accused to embezzling funds when paying almost double the market price for two used oil rigs using intermediaries. He has never been formally prosecuted.

By the end of Boyko's second right hook, a few other MPs interfere. The Speaker of the parliament then warns Boyko his actions will be referred to the parliamentary ethics committee and that he might be banned from future meetings.

He added that he has spoken with US president Joe Biden, and told Ukrainians to stay home and to stay calm: 'The army works. I will be with you all the time. Stay strong. We will win because we are Ukraine. Glory to Ukraine.'

A new Western platform has entered the war in Ukraine.

Swedish-manufactured CV-90 fighting vehicles from Ukraine have reached the front lines, reportedly in the vicinity of Bakhmut within the Donbas region in eastern Ukraine.

Viewers may note that in January, Sweden pledged 50 CV-90s to Ukraine.

The CV-90 is the third tracked fighting vehicle Ukraine has received from its foreign allies, the country is getting more than 150 M-2s from the United States as well as 60 Marders from Germany.

Perang Dingin, sebelum 1990, orang-orang Ukraina dan Rusia bersatu dalam sebuah negara federasi bernama Uni Soviet. Negara komunis yang kuat di zaman Perang Dingin itu.

Uni Soviet setelah Jerman kalah dan PD II selesai, memiliki pengaruh di belahan timur Eropa. Tak heran jika negara-negara di benua Eropa bagian timur juga menjadi negara-negara Komunis.

Uni Soviet bersama China adalah musuh dari AS dan negara barat lainnya dalam Perang Dingin. Negara komunis era Perang Dingin digolongkan sebagai Blok Timur, sementara yang anti komunis berada di Blok Barat.

Di sekitar Eropa untuk melawan negara komunis, AS dkk mendirikan NATO dan di sekitar Asia Tenggara. AS mendukung pakta pertahanan Asia Tenggara South East Asia Treaty Organization (SEATO).

Uni Soviet dan sekutunya tentu saja membuat Pakta Pertahanan sendiri. Pada 14 Mei 1955, mereka membangun Pakta Warsawa.

Setelah adanya pakta-pakta pertahanan Blok Barat vs Blok Timur itu, terjadi perlombaan senjata antara dua kubu. Kedua blok kerap terlibat dalam perang saudara di Asia dan Afrika.

Pada 1991, Uni Soviet dan Pakta Warsawa bubar. Setelah komunis bukan lagi ancaman, AS menjadikan Islam garis keras sebagai ancaman dunia. Namun, NATO tak pernah bubar.

Rusia, sebagai inti penting dari Uni Soviet itu, tetap menjadi negara besar dan kuat. Di zaman Presiden Vladimir Putin, Rusia juga terlihat menakutkan bagi negara-negara barat.

Meski Perang Dingin sudah lama dianggap selesai, permusuhan AS dengan Rusia masih ada. Rusia yang pernah "satu rumah" di masa lalu dalam negara Uni Soviet, tampak "cemburu" kedekatan Ukraina dengan negara barat.

Ukraine’s Special Operations Center "A" used drones and artillery to take out Russians. Troops from the unit, known as ‘Alpha’, hit 50 Russian targets within a single week. Five tanks, 16 armoured vehicles, two anti-air batteries and dozens of troops were blown up. Videos revealed how ‘first-person view’ drones were used in the attacks. FPV drones, as they are called, use virtual reality to give the pilot a view from the drone. They have proved extremely effective against vehicles and radar stations.

A new Russian drone strike has hit Ukrainian port facilities in the Izmail area on the River Danube, killing one person, the local governor said.

Port and agricultural infrastructure was damaged in the overnight attack, according to Oleh Kiper, governor of the surrounding Odesa region.
