Nueva York, 15 feb (EFEUSA).- (Imagen: Mateo Sancho) El diseñador Roberto Etxeberría, en su segunda vez como nombre oficial de la Fashion Week de Manhattan, apostó por estilos étnicos, usando tejidos naturales en prendas llamativas y extravagantes. <br />Etxeberría agitó la coctelera de la Semana de la Moda de Nueva York, con conceptos tan dispares como las coplas vascas de Santa Águeda, la colaboración del coreógrafo de Beyoncé o Jennifer López, Jermaine Browne, y con el "Romeo y Julieta" de Prokofiev. <br />En la apasionada pasarela de Etxeberría, cuya primera colección deslumbró en septiembre por su concepto casi paleolítico de la moda, volvieron a triunfar sus suntuosas pieles, su vibrante puesta en escena y sus modelos, a pesar de que dejó un mayor protagonismo a la lana que al pelo. <br />"En invierno lana, como siempre", aseguró a Efe este diseñador de férrea personalidad y vocación tardía, para quien su nueva colección es "muy estricta y bastante radical". <br />"Me he centrado en 36 trajes que van complementados de abrigos que lo que intentan aportar es que son reversibles", aseguró, y en esa reversibilidad no se busca tanto el carácter práctico del doble uso como la sensación de epidermis y cabellera de una presa cazada, aunque sea en color rojo chillón. <br />Mientras explora las gamas de grises en unos trajes de lana mucho más ponibles y con un toque de discreta distinción, las pieles comienzan a ganar territorio. <br />Primero, desde la parte baja de las chaquetas, hasta terminar en un espectacular modelo en blanco, como si fueran un traje de novia cuya falda se convierte en una colección de pieles albinas. <br />Siempre impactante desde el concepto de inicio hasta la ejecución final y en su selección de modelos, si en su debut contó con el actor español Óscar Jaenada, esta vez incluyó al campeón mundial de esgrima Miles Champley-Watson.
