Is Tsukiji fish market is the biggest scam in Tokyo?

controversial opinion, but… yes it may be 😬🙈

So many people hype up Tsukiji fish market as the best place in the world for sushi, and that was probably have true before 2018 when the actual market moved to Toyosu 👍🏼 But nowadays, what’s left in Tsukiji outer market is basically just sushi shops which open exclusively for tourists….

Kinda sad to see this place turn into a hollow shell of its former self 😩 if you’ve never been to Tsukiji it may still be worth checking out just to tick off your Tokyo travel bucket list, but just be aware!

I wanted to release the video last year, however there were many complications involved (lost footage, broken hard drives, footage not good enough etc) and I wanted this video to be perfect! Japan is finally open! Watch this travel vlog and guide for your next Tokyo trip 🇯🇵

Tokyo is one of the places I've been wanting to revisit. This time we didn't have a fixed itinerary which made the trip all the more fun and spontaneous. We were able to discover local restaurants, cafe hop and do lots of (window) shopping! We also explored Ginza and Shinjuku areas which I highly recommend aside from Shibuya which is often the first place you think of when visiting Tokyo. We also stayed in this amazing hotel in Shinjuku which had the best location and view of the city skyline.
